Doylestown Hospital has earned a spot on Newsweek’s 2025 World’s Best Hospitals list, a ranking that highlights the top healthcare institutions across 30 countries worldwide, according to a staff report from TAPinto Doylestown.
The ranking is compiled using an online survey conducted by Newsweek and Statista, patient experience surveys, hospital quality metrics from various public sources, as well as an assessment of PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) implementation.
Doylestown Hospital came in at No. 133.
It is one of several facilities from the Philadelphia region to make the prestigious list. The highest ranked local hospital is the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, which placed at No. 15.
Other regional hospitals recognized on the list include Jefferson Health-Thomas Jefferson University at No. 44, Penn State Health-Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at No. 56, and St. Luke’s University Hospital-Bethlehem Campus at No. 111.
The hospital that took the top spot is the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by the Mayo Clinic in Cleveland in second place.
Newsweek evaluated over 2,400 hospitals for the list.
