Doylestown Hospital has been honored by the American Heart Association (AHA) for its exceptional care in treating heart disease and stroke, according to TAPinto Doylestown.
The hospital received multiple awards through the AHA’s Get With The Guidelines and Mission: Lifeline programs, which recognize hospitals that adhere to evidence-based treatment protocols.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., with someone experiencing a heart attack or stroke every 40 seconds.
The awards specifically highlight Doylestown Hospital’s excellence in managing stroke, heart failure, in-hospital heart attacks, and coronary artery disease in type 2 diabetes patients. These recognitions underscore the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality, timely care that improves patient outcomes.
“We are dedicated to following the latest treatment guidelines to ensure our patients receive the best care possible,” said James L. Brexler, President and CEO of Doylestown Health.
