Those looking to cool off this summer can check out Jamison Ice Cream, a recently opened shop in Warwick, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The ice cream shop, located at 2140 York Road, serves ice cream flavors provided by Nina’s Waffles and Ice Cream. The shop is owned and run by the Talati family.
Jamison Ice Cream’s menu features an array of drinks and treats, including floats, milkshakes, banana splits, sundaes and coffee.
Niketa Talati shared that, despite no online advertising, around 100 families stopped by for a treat on opening day.
“We have the best products,” Niketa said. “Nina’s produces our ice cream and waffles. They are amazing products. We use no GMOs, no artificial flavorings or colors. And we only use milk from the Tanner Brothers’ Dairy.”
Customers can select from their 16 available ice cream flavors. Two of their most popular items are Mad Crack, which features vanilla ice cream with toffee and chocolate on a cracker, and Toll House, with walnuts and chocolate shavings in brown sugar ice cream.
The shop is open 11 AM to 9 PM weekdays, and 11 AM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday.
