The new eatery will occupy the former Hubba Hubba Hoagies space, in the Middletown Shopping Center.

“It’s super exciting, and it’s something we’ve wanted for a long time,” said Heather Wizmerski, who started the food truck known for its delicious fried chicken sandwiches  with her husband, Fred, in 2021.

For the last four years, the couple worked on the road, catering private and corporate parties and stopping by various breweries in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

“We decided we wanted to make the stuff we loved to eat,” said Wizmerski. “We weren’t really sure what to expect, but we’ve been happy with the response that we’ve gotten. So, this seemed like a good time to further it with the shop”

The Coop Sandwich Shop, which will have takeout and dine-in options, serving many items favored by their customers, including smash burgers, cheesesteaks, and shrimp po boys.
