The new logistics park, developed on the site of the former Philadelphia State Hospital, better known as Byberry Hospital, is nearing completion on the Bensalem border and is now available for lease, write Lacey Latch and Damon C. Williams for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The Rockefeller Group Logistics Center on Roosevelt Boulevard was green-lit by local officials over a year ago and is expected to be finalized by the fall.
The project is a joint development between the Rockefeller Group and real estate financing firm PCCP. It is situated on 50.44 acres of land along Roosevelt Boulevard, between Bensalem and Philadelphia.
The development includes two logistics buildings that total 656,904 square feet of usable space. The project is expected to create around 1,000 new permanent positions once completed.
“While Rockefeller Group Logistics Center on the Boulevard is not yet complete, that doesn’t preclude us from leasing the project if someone is interested,” said Heath Abramsohn, vice president and regional director with Rockefeller Group. “We do not have any tenants lined up for the space but we are actively touring the project with prospective tenants and marketing the project.”
