Comcast was recently joined by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of two Xfinity stores in Villanova and Springfield.
The openings also including charitable donations from Comcast to the local community.
Villanova Xfinity
The Main Line Chamber of Commerce was on hand March 11 for the ribbon-cutting of a new 2,874 square-foot Xfinity store in Villanova.
The Villanova Xfinity Store is located at 775 East Lancaster Ave, Suite 110. It is open seven days a week.
“Comcast’s Villanova Xfinity Store is a great addition to our region, providing jobs and essential technology that is so important to the personal and professional lives of our members and community,” said Bernard Dagenais, president and chief executive officer of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce.
“When you think about the entertainment, creative and business applications for the goods and services available from this new Xfinity store, it’s sure to have a big impact over time. As a homegrown company, Comcast strengthens the Greater Philadelphia and the Main Line economy through its jobs, leadership and corporate philanthropy.”
During the ribbon-cutting, Comcast announced a $10,000 grant to the Women’s Resource Center, celebrating its 50th anniversary, that will go toward its mission of empowering women and girls across Greater Philadelphia.
Springfield Xfinity
The Delaware County Chamber was on hand Feb. 5 for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the Xfinity store in Springfield.
The 2,750 square-foot store, the second in Delaware County, is located at 471 Baltimore Pike. It is open seven days a week. For directions and store hours, click here.
The store features an interactive design and provides a destination for visitors to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services, access the NOW product portfolio of low-cost, prepaid Internet, Mobile and TV, or discuss their business technology needs with a Comcast Business subject-matter expert.
“The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to welcome Comcast’s new Xfinity Store to Springfield. Dan Bonelli, regional senior vice president for the Comcast Freedom Region, said the Springfield store is an important part of Comcast’s commitment to provide an excellent experience for its customers.

As part of the store opening, Comcast donated $10,000 to The Foundation for Delaware County that will go toward its second annual Delco Gives Day, providing community-wide support to local nonprofits.
