Chase Bank is planning to add 15 branches in the Philadelphia region before the end of the year, including three in Bucks County, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency recently granted regulatory approval to the bank for its future locations at Route 611 and Almshouse Road in Warrington, Route 202 and Lenape Drive in New Britain, and Route 202 and Reeder Road in New Hope.
The subsidiary of New York-based JPMorgan Chase has been targeting Bucks County for expansion in recent months. Before it secured approval for the three incoming branches, Chase earned approval to open a location at Levittown Parkway and Bristol Pike in Levittown.
The bank entered the retail banking market in the Philadelphia region in 2018 with the aim of opening 50 locations within five years. Chase successfully met that goal and has already announced plans to expand its presence in the region to 100 locations by 2027.
The bank opened its first Bucks County branch in Warrington in January 2021 and has since added locations in Bensalem, Doylestown, Feasterville, Morrisville, Richboro, Southampton, Warminster, Warrington, and Yardley.
