Chase Bank will open seven new branches across the Philadelphia region over the next three months, with two located in Chester County, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The bank has already opened three retail branches in the area earlier this year, bringing the total number of new openings to ten and the overall branch count in the region to 78.

The bank now plans on adding 20 more branches next year as part of its plan to have 100 retail locations in the Greater Philadelphia market by 2027.

The branches opening in Chester County include West Goshen at Marketplace at Westtown at 1506 W. Chester Pike on Oct. 28 and Kennett Square at 804 E. Baltimore Pike on Dec. 3.

Chase has already received regulatory approval to open 17 branches in the Philadelphia region, including those already scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The bank has also filed to open five more and has 13 more that are under development in the surrounding areas.
