For cyclists looking for a long ride with lots of changing scenery, the Delaware Canal Towpath is the route to take.
Here, you can enjoy breathtaking, ever-changing natural views along the extensive 58.9-mile track. For those preferring a shorter journey, numerous loop options are also available.
Connections to the loop trail bridges can be found in Uhlerstown, Lumberville, Center Bridge, Washington Crossing, and Morrisville.
Tyler State Park Trail, meanwhile, is perfect for families who want to enjoy a more leisurely ride together amid peaceful wooded scenery. You will have to ride on the paved path that is shared with pedestrians, so caution is advised.
The 10.8-mile-long trail can be accessed from 101 Swamp Road in Newtown.
