Doylestown Third-Grader, Bradley Cooper Deliver Eagles Super Bowl Intro

Declan LeBaron of Doylestown joined Bradley Cooper to introduce the Eagles at Super Bowl LIX.

New Hope’s Bradley Cooper and Doylestown nine-year-old Declan LeBaron delivered an electrifying Eagles intro before the Super Bowl, setting the stage for the Birds’ win, writes Matt Breen for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Hollywood megastar and a diehard Eagles fan was asked to introduce the Birds in New Orleans as they entered the field, and he wanted the third-grader, who has systemic juvenile arthritis, to do it with him.

It did not take them long to rehearse their spiel.

“Him and Bradley just went over it one time,” said Declan’s mom, Jillian LeBaron.

On Super Bowl Sunday, as the players were standing in the tunnel, Cooper said, “From the city of Brotherly Love, your 2024 NFC Champions, the Philadelphia…”

Then he moved the microphone to Declan.

“E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles,” they shouted.

They crushed the intro, and the Superdome erupted as thousands of Eagles fans joined their chant in unison. The pair helped make New Orleans feel far less like a neutral-site venue and much more like the heart of South Philly.

“The game was done right there,” said Jillian LeBaron. “We knew we had it.”
