New Hope is home to one of the six places in Pennsylvania where you can enjoy both vivid fall foliage and gorgeous autumn wildflowers, writes Kalena Thomhave for The Keystone.
Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve boasts 4.5 miles of trails that lead you through forests, past streams, and across many meadows.
You will be able to spot many beautiful autumnal wildflowers during your walk, from green-headed coneflower to great blue lobelia to the aggressive obedient plant with its flashy pink or purple flowers.
Even when the colder months approach, you will still be able to catch flowers like the blue wood aster along the edge of woodlands as well as close to many meadows and streams.
Tickets are $12 for adults to enter the preserve, which is open every day but Tuesday during the fall. You can also join naturalist-guided walks from Friday through Sunday in September and October for an additional $5.
