The Penn Valley-based beauty and lifestyle expert Nicolette Brycki got her start in fashion early on, writes Eileen Smith Dallabrida for the Main Line Today.
“I was born into a stylish family,” she said. “I learned all my core fashion lessons from my mother. My grandmother had only two evening dresses when she went out in the ’50s, and she always turned heads. Fashion for us meant living life through the lens of style, which is something I teach my own children.”
When it comes to her favorite places to shop, the TV personality prefers Anthropologie, as well as Marlyn Schiff in Haverford for its unique jewelry.
Her best fashion find?
“The 1970s handmade white marabou dress jacket my mother gave me. It’s an instant dose of Marilyn Monroe,” she said.
When it comes to aging, while she is still not too thrilled about it, she believes that it provides people with much greater rewards and gifts in life than they will ever have in their 20s.
“Aging – especially for women – gives you a stronger sense of life purpose, identity, and sense of style,” she said.
