The Doylestown company is selling skincare products that contain wholesome ingredients.

In collaboration with a major health and beauty company in Doylestown, a local couple has just launched their own skincare company. Lisa Dukart wrote about the new company for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Sanjay Batra, a former pharmaceutical scientist for Johnson & Johnson, and his wife, Amy, recently launched their new skincare company, Maskad, through a partnership with WeThrivv, a Doylestown-based cosmetics company. The company made its official launch on Saturday, offering quality cosmetic products to a nationwide audience.

“I wanted to get to a place where we could make decisions and respond to the needs of our customers more effectively,” Sanjay said. With his wife’s background in marketing, the couple has had a successful launch of their new business endeavor.

“What we found is both in hair loss and in facial aesthetics, the current offerings weren’t good enough.”

Headquartered on Old Easton Road in Doylestown, the cosmetics company is the latest one to enter the market in the Bucks County area. Earlier this year, Newtown natives Dr. Yong Liu and Angie Li opened Fairy Gene, a similar company that operates out of the Bristol area.
