Residents of Doylestown eagerly awaiting the grand opening of the new Whole Foods Market may need to exercise more patience, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times. 

Since the announcement in fall 2022, the grocery giant has kept tight-lipped about an official opening date.  

Construction, which began last winter at the Barn Plaza shopping center, has made significant progress, with the exterior nearing completion.  

However, the interior remains a work in progress, with the space still a bare-bones shell. 

As of late July 2024, Whole Foods has not shared any specifics regarding the store’s launch. A company spokesperson confirmed they have no new details but expressed excitement about serving the Doylestown community with their renowned organic offerings. 

 Job postings for the Doylestown location have yet to be announced, leaving the opening date a mystery. Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses.
