Shane and Weston Fox, 9-year-old twin brothers from Warrington, have raised $800 to support the Warminster Food Bank, writes Dino Ciliberti for The Patch.

This effort was part of their junior black belt service project at Action Karate of Jamison, where they have trained since age four.

Inspired by their older brother Carter, who also raised funds for food insecurity during his black belt journey in 2020, the twins decided to continue the family tradition of helping those in need.

They set up a stand outside their karate studio, selling lemonade to students and families after classes.

Friends and family also contributed, boosting their total donation.

“I wanted to make sure people in my community have food because it’s so important,” said Shane. Weston added, “People need food to survive, and a lot of people in our area need help.”

The brothers’ efforts have made a significant impact, demonstrating that even the youngest community members can make a difference.
