A thousand black-and-white clad diners will gather on Newtown Borough’s closed-down North State Street for an alfresco dinner on September 7, according to The Reporter.
Tickets are now on sale for the 8th annual Newtown Black & White Dinner to benefit the historic Newtown Theatre.
The street will be lined with tables draped in white linens, stretching hundreds of feet.
Guests can enjoy live jazz music and decorate their tables before dinner begins at 6:30 PM.
Following dinner, the theatre will host a special dueling pianos concert, marking the first event after its renovations. Concert tickets are sold separately and are limited to 250 attendees.
Diners are encouraged to dress in black and white, though formal wear is not required, although prizes will be rewarded for the best dressed.
Guests should bring their own food, utensils, and optional black and white décor.
