Phoenixville Designer Revamps Yardley Home with Sophisticated Style
A Yardley couple turned to Christie Fleming, owner and principal designer of Phoenixville-based Lennon Nora Interior Design, for a sophisticated upgrade on their home, writes Kristin Detterline for Philadelphia Magazine.
Fleming crafted a cohesive color story around the couple’s favorite decor pieces, transforming their two-story abode.
One key area was a home office that doubles as a guest room, inspired by a cherished painting from Barcelona.
Custom built-ins by BD Woodwork, a bench by Avant-Garde Designs, and a desk with a view of a golf course complete the room’s design.
In the guest-room seating area, another abstract painting anchors the space, featuring a velvet chair from Four Hands and a Birch Lane martini table. The room’s bold hue, Benjamin Moore’s Templeton Gray, is grounded by a neutral Foundry Select rug.
The most ambitious transformation was a catchall area adjacent to the primary bedroom, now a dreamy dressing room. BD Woodwork created custom closets, and Philly Painting and Remodeling applied Sherwin-Williams’s Sensible Hue to the exterior. Honey Bronze hardware from Top Knobs adds a touch of elegance.
In the guest bedroom, Arhaus three-dimensional birds bring movement above the Four Hands bed, adding a unique touch to the space.
