Zayn Malik, the 31-year-old British-Pakistani singer, has recently relocated to Bucks County, writes Alex Ocho for Complex Magazine.
In an interview with Nylon, Malik shared his challenges and experiences in his new home.
Malik expressed his feelings of standing out in the rural setting, where locals are more focused on their daily routines than celebrity sightings.
Despite the serene environment, Malik’s attempts to find love through dating apps have been less than successful. “Everyone accused me of catfishing,” he revealed. “They’re like, ‘What are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures for?’ I’ve been kicked off once or twice.”
Consequently, Malik has decided to abandon dating apps altogether.
Content with his single status, Malik stated, “I’m really content and happy with being single for the first time in my life.”
This marks a new chapter for the former One Direction member, who previously dated Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and model Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a daughter, Khai.
As Malik adjusts to his life in Bucks County, he remains focused on his personal happiness and well-being.
