Former One Direction member and singer Zayn Malik, recently opened up about his life in New Hope, writes Gabrielle Rockson for People.  

In an interview on April 17 with Capital Breakfast, Malik revealed he has been living on a farm in New Hope for about five to six years, which he shares with various animals including chickens, turtles, dogs, and cats. 

The 31-year-old singer expressed his plans to expand the farm by adding horses and enhancing its facilities, acknowledging the considerable effort required in maintaining such a property.  

He also shared a touching detail about his 3-year-old daughter, Khai, whom he co-parents with ex-girlfriend and supermodel Gigi Hadid. According to Malik, Khai helps him name the animals, adding a personal touch to their care. 

The singer is also set to release his fourth studio album, “Room Under the Stairs,” on May 17.
