Trevose-Based Rita’s Italian Ice Unveils New Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Flavor for 2024

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, founded in Bensalem and headquartered in Trevose, has introduced an exciting new flavor for its 2024 season: Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Italian Ice, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This latest addition debuted on Monday and will be available for a limited time at all Rita’s locations.

This collaboration between Rita’s and Kraft Heinz, the owner of the Kool-Aid brand, was facilitated by Kraft Heinz’s licensing agency, Brand Central.

Mark Jenkins, Rita’s vice president of marketing, described the partnership as a “perfect match” that combines Kool-Aid’s iconic flavor with Rita’s expertise in crafting delicious frozen treats.

The new Kool-Aid Tropical Punch flavor can be enjoyed in various forms, including a five-layer gelati.

For those who prefer a drinkable treat, the flavor is also available in Rita’s Blenders line.
