The Villas at Greenbrook, a 180-unit community for Bucks County residents aged 55 and up will soon go under construction in Levittown, writes Damon C. Williams for the Bucks County Courier Times.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the Villas at Greenbrook will take place April 5. The complex will include a variety of residential styles, including:

  • Three 24-unit apartment buildings
  • Fifteen 4-unit quad buildings
  • Two 8-unit flat buildings
  • Two 10-unit flat buildings
  • One 12-unit flat building with a clubhouse, pool and parking

The community will occupy Firefighters and EMT Park at Scholar Lane, cutting the park down to one acre.

However, Bristol Township will allot over 17 acres of the site belonging to the old Washington Elementary School. The developer will also install equipment for the park, which will open this summer.

Bristol residents are invited to weigh in on proposed park designs.

The residential community has no planned opening date.
