Pickleball Kingdom Eyes Bucks County for Strategic Expansion
Arizona-based Pickleball Kingdom has its sights set on multiple locations in Bucks County over the next few years, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The CEO of the indoor pickleball franchise, Ace Rodrigues, says this move is to meet the “ravenous” hunger for pickleball.
The popular sport has swept the nation over the past year and combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
The sports complex franchise is the latest to eye expansion in the greater Philadelphia area.
Levittown urgent care operator Sam Sood will be the “master franchisee” for Pickleball Kingdom in Central Jersey.
Since September, he’s served as the franchise’s area representative and developer.
Originally seeking to build a pickleball complex on his own, Sood discovered Pickleball Kingdom, and has now identified potential locations in New Jersey.
Pickleball Kingdom is seeking entrepreneurs in the area to help develop these new clubs.
