Out of over 9,500 craft breweries in the U.S., Downingtown's Victory Brewing Company ranks as one of the largest.

The Brewers Association, the trade association representing America’s small and independent breweries, released its annual review of production figures for the U.S. craft brewing industry, Don Tse for Forbes. The Brewers Association also ranks the largest craft breweries across the U.S.

In 2023, there were 9,683 breweries, with 191,421 employees, an all-time high. “I think these numbers show that while craft beer is no longer seeing the incredible growth of five or six years ago, the industry is doing fine,” said Bart Watson, chief economist with the Brewers Association

Artisanal Brewing Ventures, the parent company of Victory Brewing Company, was ranked as one of the 50 largest craft breweries in the U.S.

Victory Brewing Company was founded in 1996 in Downingtown. As one of the original top names in craft brewing, Victory is widely recognized for its suburb offerings, such as Golden Monkey Belgian-Style Tripel, Sour Monkey Sour Tripel, DirtWolf DIPA, and Prima Pils German-Style Pilsner.

Victory has stayed at the top of the craft beer game by utilizing their creativity and innovation to create interesting, high-qua beers that also can be enjoyed by anyone. Looking ahead to the next quarter-century of business, Victory Brewing intends to “brew forward” to keep their customers satisfied.
