The Pa Fish and Boat Commission is making changes to the trout distribution sites due to construction work at the Delaware Canal State Park.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is making changes to the trout distribution sites in Bucks County due to construction work at the Delaware Canal State Park, according to Levittown Now.

This upgrade activity has led to a decrease in water levels at certain sections of the Delaware Canal, impacting planned trout stocking sites for the 2024 season.

In response, the commission is introducing alternative locations for trout stocking in Bucks County to ensure that the spring fishing season remains vibrant.

Lake Caroline in Falls Township and The Giving Pond in Tinicum will temporarily join the list of trout-stocked waters.

An increase in trout allocation is planned for Levittown Lake to make up for the shortfall caused by the construction.

With trout season opening on Saturday, April 6, fishermen are encouraged to stay updated by consulting the Trout Stocking Schedule.
