The Wegmans in Prickett Preserve is officially opening its doors this morning at 9 AM, writes Daniella Heminghaus for the Bucks County Courier Times.   

Employees are preparing behind the scenes. The supermarket will include all departments, along with in-store dining. The location employs 415 staff members.

The development where the Wegmans is located houses a multiuse development that includes several retail outlets and dining spots and 200 apartments.  

Prickett Preserve is couched off the Newtown Bypass and Stony Hill Road and is 36 acres across from Shady Brook Farm.  

Other features of the nearly 88,000 square foot supermarket include freshly baked goods, nearly 1,200 wines and 500 varieties of beer and hard ciders, a special “fine wine room”, increased self-checkout spaces, and a sushi pod.
