The Michener Museum in Doylestown is offering free admission on the second Sunday of every month thanks to a hefty grant, writes Peter Crimmins for WHYY.

The museum will also extend its hours every Thursday until 8 PM. A $400,000 grant from the Art Bridges Foundation helped make this possible for the institution.

In addition to free admissions once a month, Sundays are also when Michener presents the Unplugged Sundays programming that features visual performances including music, story-telling, and hands-on art-making.
