The Central Bucks School District is actively seeking input from the community as it embarks on the search for a new superintendent, according to TAPintoDoylestown.

This move comes after the previous superintendent’s resignation. The district is collaborating with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit on the search process.

Meanwhile, James Scanlon, an experienced educator with over two decades of superintendent experience, has stepped in as Acting Superintendent.

The district emphasizes the importance of community feedback in this crucial decision-making process.

To this end, an online survey has been launched, inviting residents to share their views on the desired qualities and priorities for the next superintendent.

The survey will remain open until 4 PM on Friday, March 8, with further details and the application process available on the Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s website.
