Penn State Abington Presents One-Woman Performance of ‘Heart Ripped Out Twice and So Can You!’

Penn State Abington invites the community to a free performance of the acclaimed show “Heart Ripped Out Twice and So Can You!” by Actor, Writer, and Director Linnea Bond on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 7 PM.

Bond describes “Heart Ripped Out Twice” as a comedy, mostly, about pain. She uses her raw honesty to drive a compelling story about illness, love, and loss. This show may not be suitable for all ages.

Bond is a Performance Artist, Actor, Writer, Director, and Teacher who produces work with intentional social momentum. With degrees in sociology, acting, and devising, her work explores the apocalypse on a global, communal, and individual scale. To explore these themes, she has employed audience participation, traditional storytelling, essay, audio, and site specificity. She also frequently makes work through engagement with community partners to explore themes relevant to that partner.
