Bucks County Gearing Up for Another Year Filled with Lodging, Attraction Openings
Bucks County is gearing up for another year that will be filled with hospitality and attraction openings as well as exhibits and family-friendly festivals, writes Megan Connelly for Visit Bucks County.
Visit Bucks County recently hosted a webinar where President and COO Paul Bencivengo provided updates on forthcoming openings and Adam Sacks, President of Tourism Economics, recently talked about the key performance indicators.
According to Sacks, demand for overnight rooms in Bucks County last year kept growing, with December coming close to levels seen in 2019. Additionally, fourth quarter hotel room revenue in 2023 surpassed 2019 by 9.2 percent.
This trend is expected to continue this year with revenues projected to increase by 2.6 percent.
There is a good reason for that. Some of the upcoming openings in the county include the addition of The Radcliffe, Bristol Borough’s new boutique hotel, the reopening of the renovated Carversville Inn, and the introduction of a new, 3,000-square-foot play area at Sesame Place.
Also, Hellerick’s Family Farm will add an 18-hole championship Barnyard-themed Mini Golf and TreeTrails Trevose will open 1,000-foot-long dual racing ziplines, among much more.
