The Boomerang Youth Recognition Awards are seeking nominations for Bucks County students who demonstrate service.

The Boomerang Youth Recognition Awards are seeking nominations for Bucks County students who demonstrate service, positive peer influence, and honesty, writes Ed Doyle for TapintoDoylestown.

Starting in Central Bucks, these awards, given by BC Cares, expanded to all districts within the county.

Students from K through 12 are eligible, and nominations must be due by April 30.

The Boomerang Awards are based on recognizing students for 40 research-based developmental assets including commitment to learning and positive values.

Every student nominated will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment, a pledge for a future letter of recommendation, and eligibility to apply for a Scholarship Program.
