Trevose will soon be home to a major distribution warehouse, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The 320,250-square-foot project marks a rise in industrial projects throughout the region.
In the third quarter of 2023, 1.3 million square feet of industrial space was under construction in Bucks County, according to a report from investment company Colliers International.
The development, which sits at 4626 Somerton Road, does not currently have any tenants, but it can be leased to one company or split between two.
The facility is also designed to accommodate 56 trailer parking spaces and 195 spaces for cars.
The construction is a result of a partnership between New Jersey-based J.G. Petrucci Co. and Boston’s Cabot Properties through a construction loan. The amount of the loan was not disclosed.
