Dr. Tanya Casas, dean of the School of Business, Arts and Sciences at Delaware Valley University (DelVal) was recently appointed to serve on the board at Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) in Doylestown.

FCP is a non-profit, private grant-making foundation established to support the behavioral health and human service needs of children, young adults, and families in Bucks County. Dr. Casas’s term on the board will run through 2026.

“I am honored to join the board of FCP and be part of a foundation that plays such a vital role in serving and supporting the non-profit community of Bucks County,” said Casas.

Casas, who earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in development sociology from Cornell University, has worked at DelVal since 2013 and was named Dean in 2018.

She also serves on the board at Vita Education Services, a non-profit that provides quality educational programs to help individuals gain skills that enhance their ability to deal with real-life situations, meet personal goals and become more self-determining and self-sufficient.
