Danny Cohen, a Pennsbury High School senior wing, is a true creator in several ways, writes the Bucks County Courier Times.

Whenever he plays, he manages to create shots for both himself and his teammates, while he also “makes everyone else better when he is on the floor,” said Falcons head coach Wes Emme.

The busy athlete is also one of 10-plus sports interns, and in this role he creates media graphics and social media posts for the school’s teams online as well as with the student TV station.

“In both cases, I have the freedom to essentially control the output,” said Cohen.

Cohen progressed from being the sixth man as a junior on Pennsbury’s Suburban One League Patriot Division championship team to a starter on this season’s 7-6 team. Now, instead of being primarily a catch-and-shoot offensive player, he can initiate the offense as a secondary ball-handler.

“I’m more of a play starter,” he said. “I think I create a lot of open shots. I get into the lane pretty easy, (then) find shooters or dump it into the big man (6-7 senior Simon Dlugi).”
