To celebrate Valentine’s Day, a new chocolate-filled event, Village of Chocolate, will be arriving at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska on February 14, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

For five days, visitors will be able to enjoy special culinary events such as chocolate-themed dinners, chocolate-covered workshops, and a Village Chocolate Trail.

Two restaurants at Peddler’s Village – Earl’s New American and the Cock ‘n Bull – will offer special menus for Valentine’s Day. Earl’s will also host a four-course Chocolate & Whiskey Dinner on February 15 while the Cock ‘n Bull will host a four-course Chocolate & Beer Dinner on February 16.

On February 18, the Cock ‘n Bull will host a family-oriented Brunch in the Chocolate Factory event with chocolate desserts, live music, crafts, and a magic show.

Meanwhile, on February 17, guests will be able to participate in the Chocolate-Covered Workshops where they will learn how to temper, melt, dip, and decorate chocolate treats. The host of the event will be Kim Pietrak of Skip’s Candy Corner.

Finally, throughout all five days, guests can walk the Village Chocolate Trail and collect stickers for various prizes.
