A Levittown community is coming together to help two residents whose home was damaged by a devastating house fire, writes Mac Bullock for the Daily Voice Delaware County.

On Jan. 2, the two residents, Debbie and John, lost their home in an electrical fire.

The couple was luckily not injured from the blaze, but they lost all their medical expenses.

The couple, who are grandparents to an eight-month-old and two-year-old, lived in the Dogwood section of town.

According to a GoFundMe organized by her sister Kellie Donovan, Debbie was out of work due to a diabetic amputation and her husband was having heart problems.

Within a week, GoFundMe successfully surpassed its $5,000 goal, amassing over $7,500 in donations.
