In a recent display of her characteristic candor, Pink, a legendary pop star from Doylestown, took to Twitter (now known as X) to confront age critics head-on, writes Kayla Blanton for Prevention.  

Known for her no-nonsense attitude, the 44-year-old artist responded to a comment that bluntly remarked, “Pink got old,” showcasing her unapologetic stance on aging and life. 

Her reply was both poignant and powerful: “Yes, although I don’t feel old, and I still get to wear a leotard to work, growing older is my first ‘grateful’ every day. What a blessing to have life, and years. To be this strong, to be able to still piss off strangers just by existing. [Bleep] Yeah times 44!” 

This robust response was met with overwhelming support from her fans.  One fan noted, “You might get old also. Nothing is guaranteed. Getting old is a blessing,” while others pointed out the obvious fact that aging is an inevitable part of life. 

As Pink continues to navigate life, both in the spotlight and in personal spheres, it’s clear she does so with a fierce grace and authenticity that resonates with many.
