Delaware River Runners, a women’s running club in Bucks County, is joining forces with Lambertville, New Jersey-based Union Chill Cannabis Company to host a holiday food and clothing drive to provide some joy for the holidays for local families in need, according to The Trentonian.
All donations will be distributed to individuals and families in Bucks County Housing Group programs.
The drive is currently running and will continue through December 23. Donations of food, clothing, and supplies can be dropped off at the Union Chill location at 204 N. Union Street in Lambertville between 9 AM and 7 PM.
Mondays through Saturdays as well as between 10 AM and 5 PM on Sundays.
The holiday drive is seeking food donations of shelf-stable milk or milk alternatives, canned goods, holiday-themed cookies and treats, cake or brownie mixes, hot cocoa or hot chocolate packets, coffee or tea bags, canned cranberry sauce, and stuffing mix.
The most pressing clothing donations include winter coats, hats, mittens, and scarves, sweaters and sweatpants, and warm socks.
Among the supplies that you can donate are holiday supplies, household supplies, and gift cards to Target, Walmart, Uber, gas stations, and similar.
