The Bucks County Association of Realtors has announced the success of its annual school supplies drive. The organization collected an impressive 105 backpacks filled with essential school supplies, valued at a total of $945.

The collected items were donated to the Bucks County Housing Group, which assists those in need throughout Bucks County, with the aim of helping children to be fully prepared for the upcoming school year.

“The response we’ve received from our members and the wider community has been truly inspiring,” stated company President Douglas Krautheim.

“Our mission at BCAR goes beyond just housing; it’s about fostering a strong and supportive community. This drive perfectly exemplifies that ethos. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and demonstrated their commitment to the future of Bucks County—our children.”

The effort was led by BCAR Reach Out Committee Co-Chairs Jessica Finnell and Susan Langenstein, the latter of whom expressed her satisfaction at the community’s response.

“We’re so grateful for the overwhelming support. It reaffirms our belief that we have an incredible community that values education and is willing to lend a hand to those in need.”
