Dan Marrazzo, owner of Laundry Depot in Penndel Borough, is continuing the longstanding tradition of free Christmas dinner this year, and is promising both great food and fellowship for up to 200 residents, writes Alex Irving for Levittown Now.

The event, which is in its eleventh year, helps homeless individuals and those needing a meal during the holiday season.

Marrazzo has been a supporter of Advocates for the Homeless and Those In Need for a long time. The tradition began the year when Marrazzo’s brothers and their families were unable to join him for Christmas.

After talking it over with his son – also named Dan – and Penny Martin of AHTN, the longtime local business owner offered his office and warehouse space for a holiday dinner.

“They bussed people to our facility on Christmas afternoon, and the rest is history,” said Marrazzo.

The father-and-son duo take an active role in preparing the meals, supported by donations from families, friends, and local restaurants.

“The quality and selection is the same as what I served my family, and my son Dan is a food fanatic, making it always interesting,” he said.
