Bucks County Responds to Blood Donation Need: Find Local Red Cross Blood Drives
The American Red Cross is urging individuals to give the gift of life this holiday season and hosts many blood donation locations in Bucks County, according to For the Advance of Bucks County for The Reporter.
During the holidays, the national blood supply typically faces challenges due to seasonal illnesses, bad weather, and lower donor turnout. Donations are critical to ensuring a steady supply of blood products.
Residents of Bucks County can conveniently schedule their donation appointments at various local sites from December 1-17, 2023.
Locations include Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Trinity Episcopal Church in Buckingham, Hilltown Baptist Church in Chalfont, and several schools and community centers in Doylestown, Feasterville Trevose, Langhorne, Levittown, Newtown, Perkasie, Quakertown, Riegelsville, Southampton, Warminster, and Yardley.
Appointments can be made using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, its website, or by calling its phone number.
Eligible donors must present a blood donor card, driver’s license, or two other forms of identification at check-in.
