Looking to Donate Blood for Those in Need? This Bucks County Establishment Has You Covered

This Bucks County township is allowing residents to donate blood to those in need.

A Bucks County township will allow local resident to donate blood as the holiday season is approaching, a time when blood is needed the most.

Warwick Township will be working with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Nov. 22 from 2-7 PM. The donation sight will be found at the Township Building’s Auditorium, located at 1733 Township Greene in Jamison.

According to the American Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood and or platelets every two seconds, and approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the United States.

The national organization provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, so donations like the one in Jamison are integral to saving lives and providing much-needed help care to those in the community and around the country.
