Pouring more than just coffee, The Bridge Coffee and Community in Levittown steams up a blend of warmth and goodwill, proving that every cup of joe can be a vessel for change, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

Launched by the Restoration Church, the coffee shop extends the congregation’s dedication to the community by donating 100 percent of its profits to Lower Bucks area nonprofits.  

Mirroring the coffee shop’s name, the walls are decked out in murals of local bridges photographed by Michele Freiling and donated by Bensalem-based Presto Tape.  

Offerings include a selection of caffeinated beverages, such as cappuccinos, drip coffee, espresso, cold brews, iced coffee, lattes, and teas. Patrons can snack on bagels, yogurt parfaits, and breakfast items.  

The establishment plans to introduce sandwiches, paninis, and soups.  

The “Pay it Forward” board allows customers to pay for a stranger’s order, such as the next teacher or student who may come in.  

“We just want to meet our community where they are and build relationships with our community, knowing that most of that most of them will never step inside our church,” said the church’s pastor Ross Manders.
