Penn State Adds PIAA Champion, Doylestown’s Tyler Kasak to Wrestling Lineup

Penn State wrestling released its roster for the new season earlier this week and with one local name among the newcomers.

Penn State wrestling released its roster for the new season earlier this week and with one local name among the newcomers, writes Greg Pickel for Blue White Illustrated.

Tyler Kasak, a Doylestown native, is among the freshmen who have joined the team. Kasak joined the 141-pound weight class.

The new Nittany Lion wrestled at Bethlehem Catholic in high school. He already has a sizable list of accomplishments, including winning a U.S. Open championship and a PIAA state championship.

He also won many other prestigious prep-level events.
