Quakertown parking will be a lot more efficient as the borough plans to implement ParkMobile payments for over 1,200 spaces, writes Jeff Ward for 69 News.

Customers access ParkMobile through its app or web browser and simply enter the zone number posted on the signs park.

The change from coin-based meters to the app will go into effect on Jan. 2.

“We envision a community where residents, visitors, and downtown businesses can navigate and park seamlessly, free from the hassles of the traditional parking system,” said Quakertown Manager Scott McElree.

Parkmobile has three million users across The Keystone State with service in Philadelphia, Easton, Allentown, and Bethlehem.
