Warminster-based National Giving Alliance has been awarded a $40,000 grant through Volpe Koenig’s IPromise Charitable Giving Fund competition.

Since its inception 16 years ago, the annual charitable giving fund has awarded over $600,000 to worthy organizations in the region. The fund supports qualifying nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area by helping them continue their missions and establishing new programs.

This year, the organization recognized the National Giving Alliance for the important work it is doing in providing new clothing, essential items, and other services to underprivileged children and youth so they can have the resources to safely develop to their potential.

“The National Giving Alliance is extremely thankful to Volpe Koenig and the IPromise Grant Committee for their generous support,” said Lisa Tordo, executive director of NGA.  “The grant provides critical mission support of providing new clothes to our clients.”

The organization has recently seen an uptick in demand as more families in the area are requiring support.

“We’re grateful to know we will be able to help more youth in the greater Philadelphia area by providing them with the necessary clothing they need to reach their potential,” added Tordo.
