Bucks County Elementary School Receives $10,000 Grant for Art Classes, Experiences for Young Students

A nonprofit run by a Bucks County theater has awarded a local school with a large grant, which will be used to support an important art program.

BRT Education, a nonprofit affiliated with the Bristol Riverside Theater, has announced a $10,000 grant that will go to a local school to support their art program.

“We’re starting of this Thursday with a big THANK YOU to the Academic Oversight Committee of Bristol Borough!” the education foundation said online.

“ArtRageous School Year Program was awarded a $10,000 grant to continue providing arts educational classes and experiences to all 1-3rd grade students attending Snyder-Girotti Elementary School.”

Those present at the giving of the award included Mary Gesualdi, Academic Oversight Committee President, Kelli Rosado, Principal of Snyder-Girotti Elementary School, Qadriyyah “Q” Tongori, BRT Director of Education and Community Engagement, Amy Kaissar, BRT Producing Director.
