Dublin’s dining scene is welcoming the third installment of the Egoavil’s family’s flourishing line of Latin American restaurants with the grand opening of “Latin Pot,” writes Michele Haddon for Bucks County Courier Times.

Carmen and Fausto Egoavil, who left Peru for the U.S. in 1992, have been pioneers in spreading Latin cuisine with their already popular eateries, including El Tule in Lambertville and Quinoa in Doylestown.

Despite facing many challenges, including the devastating loss of 69-year-old Fausto to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family has persevered, continuing to embed their legacy and dedication into their businesses.

“Each one of us has a strong role in this [business]. That’s why when my dad passed away, it was so hard. It was almost like we were lost,” reflects Sylvia Egoavil.

Latin Pot offers a unique blend of flavors, from Peruvian to Mexican, and reaches further into Latin America with tastes from El Salvador, Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela.

Health-conscious diners can rejoice in a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options, including arepas, chilaquiles, empanadas, sopes, ceviche, tamales, and street corn.

The must-try “Arepa Reina Pepiada” is already winning hearts.
