‘Tis the Season: Bucks County Towns Prepare for Holiday Parades, Festive Events through Early December
Many Bucks County towns are ready for the holiday parade and event season, which started with the Bristol Township Holiday Parade on Saturday and last through early December, writes Danielle Camilli for the Bucks County Courier Times.
While the parade is already over, there is still fun to be had in Bristol on December 2, when the township tree lighting will take place starting at 6 PM at the Municipal Park Amphitheater.
On Friday, November 25, Doylestown Winterfest will kick off with the tree lighting at State and Main Streets. Musical performances will begin at 5 PM, while Santa is scheduled to arrive on a firetruck at 6:40 PM.
Bristol Borough Christmas Parade will happen on Saturday, November 25, starting from Simon and Schuster on Farragut Ave at 1 PM.

- Dublin Holiday Gathering & Tree Lighting – Friday, December 1, starting at 5:30 PM.
- Quakertown Christmas Tree Lighting Festival – Friday, December 1, starting at 5:30 PM.
- Langhorne Dickens Night – Friday, December 1, starting at 6 PM.
- Yardley Christmas Parade – Saturday, December 2, starting at 3:30 PM.
- Morrisville WinterFest – Saturday, December 2, starting at 10 AM.
- Perkasie Christmas Tree Lighting – Saturday, December 2, starting at 5 PM.
- Falls Township Tree Lighting – Saturday, December 2, starting at 5 PM.
- Newtown Holiday Parade – Sunday, December 3, starting at 2 PM.
- Bensalem Santa & Tree Lighting – Saturday, December 9, starting at 5 PM.
