One of Bucks county’s most popular holiday parades will be held this weekend, with a group of locals hosting the event for the community.

The Newtown Holiday Parade will be held in Newtown on Dec. 4. As with every year, a group of local residents has been chosen as judges and emcees for the fun event. All those who are involved are affiliated with the Newtown Business Association (NBA).

One of this year’s judges is Dana Weissenberg, a Newtown resident and the Owner and Publisher of Newtown City Lifestyle. She also sits on the board of directors for the United Way of Bucks County. Other judges include Beverly Dimler, the Sales and Training Manager at Sam’s Club in Langhorne, and Paul Salvatore, a realtor with Keller Williams.

For the emcees, local resident and Council Rock North alum Christina Nelson will oversee the event. Recently, she has founded Fuel The Force to give back to members of local law enforcement. District Court Judge Mick Petrucci will also serve as emcee.
