Turn Leftover Treats into Cheers and Charity at These Bucks County Candy Collection Sites

As piles of extra and unwanted treats haunt the houses of parents, Bucks County candy collection sites can lift the curse. 

As piles of extra and unwanted treats haunt the houses of parents, Bucks County candy collection sites can lift the curse. 

Langhorne real estate agent Kim Rock will be collecting leftover treats between Nov 1 and 8 at Newtown Brewing Co. to donate to airmen overseas, writes Peg Quann for Bucks County Courier Times.  

Those parting ways with their treats will get a dollar off a pint of beer.  

The Bucks County Opportunity Council’s food pantries scattered throughout the county will also be taking unwanted candy to give to families in need.  

Levittown’s ERA Food Pantry accepts candy from 9 AM to noon on Mondays and Tuesdays.  

Quakertown Food Pantry is another Bucks County candy collection site open between 10 AM to 1 PM Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays.
